Sliding Doors & Windows
Glass that moves sideways instead of swinging into the room — the right answer for terraces, balconies and any opening where a hinged leaf would be in the way.
Ways to Open a Wall
From a compact kitchen window to a full-width glazed elevation.
Standard Sliding
Two or more leaves running past each other on a bottom track. Economical, compact and the workhorse of Cyprus balconies.
Panoramic Sliding
Slim interlocks and large panes for uninterrupted views, with the frame largely hidden in the reveal.
Corner Openings
Two glazed runs meeting at an open corner, leaving no post in the way when the leaves are pulled back.
Folding Systems
Panels that concertina to one side and stack, opening the majority of the wall rather than half of it.
Sliding Windows
The same principle at window scale, for kitchens and bathrooms where a swinging leaf would foul a tap or a shower screen.
Flush Floor Track
A recessed track level with the finished floor, so there is no step between the living room and the terrace.
Why Sliding Works Here
Designed around Cyprus terraces, Cyprus light and Cyprus wind.
No Swing Space
A sliding leaf never intrudes into the room or the terrace. On a narrow balcony that difference is the difference between usable and not.
Maximum Glass
Slim interlocks and large panes mean more daylight and more view for the same structural opening.
Sealed Against Weather
Brush and gasket seals plus a drained and vented track keep wind-driven rain out and let anything that does get in escape.
Security
Anti-lift blocks stop a closed leaf being lifted off its track, and laminated glass is available where the opening is exposed.
The Track Decides Everything
A sliding door is only as good as what it runs on. We specify the track, rollers and structural opening together against the actual panel weight, then set the track dead level — a millimetre of fall is what makes a door bind two years later.
Where the opening is very large or the panels very heavy, we will tell you honestly when a lift & slide system is the better answer instead of pushing a standard slider past its limits.
- Thermal break aluminium profiles
- Stainless steel rollers sized to panel weight
- Drained and vented track
- Anti-lift security blocks
- Flush or upstand track options
- Integrated sliding insect screens
